Hard Rock Café Shirt Collection

It’s more than a month ago. Time for another update!

Last week I have been to London, United Kingdom for a business trip. I really do love London and enjoy being there every time I get the chance to visit the city.

Well, last week was different that week was full of bad luck - it already started on my first day. I arrived on Sunday with nice weather conditions and more than 20 degress, but someone stole my mobile phone *arghs*. How can someone survive in the 21st century without mobile…. I don’t know, but as you can see, I am still alive  To make a long story short all finsihed by the Volcanic Ash Cloud over Europe coming from the Eyjafjallajokull in Iceland. The ash cloud continued to keep European airspace shut down until Tuesday April 22, 2010 and of course it the reason why I my flight from London to Edinburgh was cancelled the Saturday before.  *grrrr*

At least I made my way to the Hard Rock Cafe in London located at Old Park Lane since June 14th 1971, this is the one that started it all!

So unfortunately the Hard Rock Cafe City shirt from Edinburgh, Scotland is still missing in my collection….

Would it be fair to say: “Iceland, if you cannot take care of your volcano - you shouldn’t be allowed to have one?”

The London City Shirt is still the same as in January!

At the beginning of May we have been visiting the Republic of Malta. Malta consists of an archipelago situated centrally in the Mediterranean, 93 km south of Sicily and 288 km north-east of Tunisia.

Malta covers just 316 km² in land area, making it one of Europe’s smallest countries. Besides a lot of tourism attractions in Gozo, Comino, the Blue Lagoon, Malta is also famous for its Knight’s of the middle age.

Without question it was a must for us to visit the Hard Rock Café locations in Malta. Locationssssss? Yes, it’s correct there are 3 different Hard Rock locations.

• Hard Rock Café (St George’s Bay)
• Hard Rock Bar (Valetta)
• Hard Rock Shop (at the airport)

The island is definitly worth an experience!

I visited Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in the Carribean in October 2006 and we spent two weeks at a lonesome dream beach.
It was an awesome place, great hotel, really nice and friendly people and unforgetable holiday! Unfortunately the Hard Rock Café in Punta Cana was not there at this time.

Greetings to Vienna for bringing the City Shirt from Punta Cana and sending me the one from Rio de Janeiro!

There are many nices places in the Land of the Rising Sun and it’s on my list of holiday places I would like to go to. Hopefully I will make it one day!

Hola Marbella!

On October 30, 2009 a new Hard Rock Café opened its doors at the heart of the Costa del Sol in  Marbella, Spain. Its Marina is one of Europe’s most exclusive harbours, with many million dollar yachts moored next to lines of Ferraris, Maseratis, Jaguars, etc. - the quintessential jet set playground. The Hard Rock Cafe Marbella is now part of this suburb, situated opposite the biggest Corte Ingles in Andalucia and a three minute walk from the port.

An Hard Rock Café Xing community member recently visited Marbella  and the new Hard Rock Café. The City tee of Marbella is now part of collection and available in the photo gallery!
